Randive Assists with Bow Thruster Replacement in the Port of Camden, New Jersey

Recently Randive was asked to assist in the replacement of a bow thruster which had failed. Upon initial consultation with all interested parties it was determined that the change out of the unit would take place on the vessels next call to the Camden, New Jersey area. [read more]

Emergency Repairs and Inspection Completed on Damaged Fiber Optic Cable South of the Verrazano Bridge

In the early part of the spring an outbound vessel bound for Gravesend Anchorage inadvertently dropped her anchor in a designated cable area. Subsequently a fiber optic cable which transmitted data from the US East Coast, South America and Europe was caught and parted losing all capability of data transmission. [read more]

Barge Salvage Completed in Wappingers Falls, New York

During the early part of March, Randive was requested to perform a pre salvage inspection on a 240’ work barge that sank in the Hudson River. Once on site it was learned that the barge sank one month earlier due to the severe winter weather and extreme ice conditions. [read more]
