Randive Completes Bottom Profile Inspection with Laboratory Analysis of Bottom Sediment for Utility Company
In the end of March, Randive was awarded a contract to perform a bottom profile inspection complete with an analysis of the bottom sediment for a very large local utility company. The survey was comprised of obtaining sediment depth’s throughout the forebay and afterbay areas. Once the sediment profile was obtained and documented, numerous sediment samples and composites were required to be obtained and cross-referenced with the established bottom profile diagrams. The required containers which were utilized had to be certified clean and a chain of custody established. The subcontracted laboratory picked up the samples and were then tested for numerous contaminates such as heavy metals, pesticides and PCB’s. The results came in as clean and as is such the second phase of the project which will be sediment removal can commence. All of the work was performed in the required time period and to the satisfaction of our client.
